I remember, reading an article in either ” Newsweek ” or ” Time Magazine ” a couple of years ago, and it pointed out that kids were about 47% overweight, than children, about 25 years ago. I also remember reading a book entitled, ” Foods That Burn Fat “, and, I was shocked that the author pointed out that only about 3% of the American population who were overweight, were overweight due to having gland problems. The most obvious reasons why the American population is overweight, both children and adults alike, are bad eating habits and no working out, or bodily exercises . Many of us already know that, excessive fat can bring on all types of health problems, such as fatty liver disease, sleep apnea, cancer, and heart disease, just to mention a few. There are studies which show that kids at 9 and 10 years of age, are already having problems with high blood pressure and diabetes, due to excessive fat. I would like to suggest that technology could be a major factor why so many children and adults are overweight. Too much technology has caused people to become lazy. I remember being at an airport, and, when I went to use one of the restrooms, I noticed that the toilets flushed automatically by themselves. Instead of walking in a restaurant, just drive through. All of this convenience makes up lazy and unproductive. Kids use to have a lot of outdoor activities, such as kickball, hide and go seek, dodge-ball, football, basketball, and baseball. However, in our current day and time, the only activities that most of them engage in, are video games and other forms of technological entertainment. Let it be understood here, that I am not using technology as a scapegoat, for the obesity problem that we are currently facing in the U.S., because there are individuals who use technology a great deal and they both eat right and workout on a regular basis. Unfortunately, however, the percentages for this crowd are very low. Eating larger portions is another reason why so many individuals are overweight. Just go into any fast food restaurant, and, give one of the employee your order, and, see how he or she will always try to encourage you to super size it. Constantly eating more calories than we can burn, allows more and more fat to build up in our bodies over a certain period of time. Being overweight simply means that a person has more body fat than is healthy. Oh yes, many people think that they do not have to workout if they happen to be skinny or have a nice figure. This is simply not true. I had a girlfriend who was 108 pounds, and, she had a nice figure. She did not think that she needed to workout. One day I took her with me to Bally Total Fitness and we both got on a stair-master. After about eight minutes, she got off the machine breathing pretty hard. I pointed out to her that, even though she was small and had a nice figure, she still needed to exercise her heart, and do light weight training to keep herself tuned. If a person constantly has a bad eating habits, and he or she does not engage in bodily exercises, especially as one gets older, he or she is bound to become fat. The solution is very simple, one should start eating right, and develop a workout program, which should consists of three or four days a week, for about a hour and a half a day.

Hiding Behind Technology: E-mail Cowards

Has anyone ever noticed, how bold people are, when they are allowed to hide behind technology? I often hear professors who teach online classes say that “students who take online courses have a tendency to be more bolder than those who attend regular college classes”. On some occasions, I have had the opportunity to observe many of the comments that students make, when responding back to their professors online. I have seen, derogatory, disrespectful, and downright threatening comments that students make toward their instructors. However, I believe if those students, were actually in a college classroom setting, they would not dare say such things. This is what technology does, it allows cowards to be bold. At one time in our nation, if a person had a dispute concerning his or her bill, he or she could readily go to the phone, electric, or gas company, and talk to a person face to face, in order to resolve the issue. Nowadays, this is practically impossible to do. Everything seems to be done with some form of technology. Such as the customer service rep, over the telephone, or going online to pay a bill. Every aspect of our society seems to be ruled by technology. If you are a male, and you do not have enough courage to talk to an attractive woman, go to the Internet and find one to chat with. If you are a female, and it may be difficult for you to meet guys, go online and find you one, and, send him some glamour shots of yourself, that you took 15 years ago, knowing that you do not look like that anymore. Hiding behind technology, in several cases, has produced a world of cowards. Bowtie Professor.com, is a very controversial website, as stated on the web page’s introduction. Quite naturally on any blog, one is going to get all types of people, black, white, brown or yellow. Some will be high school dropouts, while others will be highly educated. Some will be Christians, some will be Muslims, while yet others will not know what, that they believe. The ages could range from 16 to 80, and yes, there will always be a few deranged individuals who come on the blog, who lack rational intuition, and, you will know them by their fruit. When I sincerely, believe individuals want to discuss or debate one of the articles, that I have written, in the past I would leave a number where I could be reached, in order that we might have an intellectual conversation. Not once has anyone called me or taken me up on my offer. I receive so many e-mails, that I cannot respond to them all. I end up deleting most of these responses, because many of the comments that several individuals leave, are totally irrelevant to the articles that they claim to be responding to. For those of you who really want to discuss a particular article, let me know, and, I will leave a number where I can be reached. I already know, that I probably won’t hear from the e-mail cowards.

Heaven: A Place Of Everlasting Joy

Heaven will be a place of everlasting joy. It will be an environment in which human words are inadequate to fully describe. It will be a place where our comprehension of God will greatly expand. It will be a place that is full of uninterrupted activities. It will not be a place where one is flying around on a cloud playing a harp all day, which is a falsehood projected by the mass media. The inhabitants of heaven are, God, Christ, the Holy Spirit, Angels, and God’s people, ( I Kings 8:30, Hebrews 9:12, 24, Psalm 139: 7-8). There is no corruption in heaven, no sorrow, no inadequacies, no weariness, no pain, no curse, no death, no wicked people, no night, and no end, ( Matthew 22:30, Luke 20:36, Revelation 7:17, 22:3-5 ). Those of us who have chosen to accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour shall experience eternal joy, rest, peace, righteousness, rewards, inheritance, and glory in heaven, because it is a far better place than what we have down here on earth. This is why Christ tells us in Matthew 6:20, ” to lay up for ourselves treasures in heaven, where no moth and dust do corrupt.” Can one imagine a place where there is no racism, sexism, crime, drugs, murder, hatred, jealousy, envy, strife, and other horrible sins? The environment of heaven will allow those who go there, not to be hindered by obstacles created by fear, pride, anxiety, and stress, which are barriers to our relationships, while here on earth. God gives us a glimpse of heaven in Revelation, chapters 21 and 22. Quite naturally, God has not revealed to us, all that we like to know about heaven, but, He has told us enough to the point where, only a fool would not want to go there. As I pointed out in one of my other articles, it is a sad thing for individuals to have insurance on their houses, insurance on their vehicles, Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance for their health, and, dental insurance for their teeth, but, do not have any insurance on their souls. What a pity. Heaven is one place that no inidivdual should miss out on. Unfortunately, however, many will do just that.

Heaven Or Hell: Where Will You Be Spending Eternity?

Everyone will be spending eternity somewhere. Where will you be spending yours? Heaven or Hell? To many hell is some place that has been conjured up out of the minds of some Christian fanatics, but, it will be a dangerous thing for one to gamble with his or her soul and step into eternity without Jesus Christ. For those of us from the Biblical School of Thought, we know that the bible teaches us, that hell is inside the earth. Scientist and bible teacher, Henry Morris, in his book, ( ” The Bible Has The Answer”, ) agrees that the bible does teaches us, that hell is somewhere in the heart of the earth. In Acts 2:31, Peter is letting his listeners know that when Christ died, that his soul when to hell, but, it was not left in hell. Hell is a real place, and, the following individuals will end up there:

(a) Rejectors of the Gospel, Matthew 10:15;

(b) Worshipers of the Beast, Revelation 14:11;

(d) The Wicked, Revelation 21:8;

(e) Fallen Angels, II Peter 2:4;

(f) The Disobedient, Romans 2: 8-9;

(g) The Devil and his Angels, Matthews 25:41.

Hell is not a place where one wants to end up. Hell is a place of eternal punishment and everlasting destruction. It is a place of eternal torment and a lake of fire. The rich man who died and went to hell, said in Luke 16:24, ” I am tormented in this flame “. Hell is a place of outer darkness, meaning, it is always pitch black darkness and night there, as pointed out in Matthew 8:12. There are four major types of torture in hell. There is physical torture, as the rich man stated, ” I am tormented in this flame”. There is psychological torture. It is going to be a terrible thing to be in hell, while at the same time seeing a glimpse of heaven, but cannot get there. Remember, the rich man in Luke 16: 19-31, saw Abraham afar off carrying Lazarus in his bosom, and, he cried out to Abraham for help, but, Abraham told him that there was a great gulf fixed between them and him, and that they could not crossover to him and he could not crossover to them. Hell is a place of horrifying social torture, where millions of lost, tormented souls are burning, weeping, wailing, and the unstoppable gnashing of teeth, ( Matthew 13:50). Finally, hell is a place of eternal torture. Hell is forever, as shown in the following scriptures, Mark 3:29, Jude 1: 6-7, Matthew 18:8 and 25:41 and Hebrews 6:2. There are about 160 references in the New Testament, which warns us of hell, and over about 68 of these were uttered by the Lord Jesus Christ. Those who choose to go to hell, will be turned into hell, according to Psalm 9:17. Such persons will see, smell, breathe, hear, taste, and feel hell. These individuals will be turned into hell. Hell will be beyond the human capacity to comprehend or understand. However, there is some good news. No person or individual has to spend eternity in hell. Jesus Christ died for the sins of the entire world, so, that all who believe in Him, will spend eternity with Him in heaven. The unsaved person must believe that Christ died for our sins according to the Holy Scriptures, and, that He was buried, as proof of His death. He was in the sepulcher three days and three nights, and, that He rose again on the third day, according to the Scriptures. Below is a simple prayer that one can say, and, if he or she truly believes it, Jesus Christ has now become their Lord and Saviour:

” Lord Jesus, I know that you died for my sins and the sins of the entire world, and, that you were buried, and in the sepulcher three days and three nights, and rose again on the third day. I now ask you to come into my life and be both Lord and Saviour of my life, so, that I can spend eternity with You. I ask You to forgive me for all of my sins, both known and unknown, and, I do now by faith, gladly accept You as my personal Saviour, and, thank you Lord for eternal salvation. Amen.”

Once, a person says and truly believes the above prayer, he or she has just made heaven his or her home.

The solution to the problem of illegal immigration is very simple. Make it easier for individuals to become American citizens. However, once an individual or group gains U.S. citizenship, they must abide by America’s political and social culture. Too many groups come to the U.S. , and, expect for America as a nation to adapt to their culture. They come to the U.S., with their religions and political world views, and, expect the nation as a whole to cater to their way of life. Can I come into your home, and, tell you what I am going to do in your home? I think not. When I come to your home, I must abide by your rules and regulations, or I must leave or get out. It should have never gotten to the point in this country, whereby we have signs written in both English and Spanish. Individuals and groups, are arriving to the U.S., with a dislike for Christian values and beliefs. What bothers me the most about such individuals or groups, is that their gods whom they claim to serve didn’t do much for them in their own countries, and that is why they came to America in the first place. If their gods didn’t do anything for them in your own countries, they probably won’t do anything for them in this country either. For persons who were born and raised in the United States, to be against others who want to become American citizens legally, such individuals are nothing but hypocrites, unless of course, they happened to be Native American. Everyone else migrated to the U. S., except for African Americans, who were forced to migrate to this nation against their will. America’s political culture has been one of the melting pot, in which different racial and ethnic groups have come to this nation in hope of finding better opportunities, that were not available to them, back in their own homelands. However, when individuals or groups come to the U.S. , and decide that they would like to stay, they should go through the legal process and necessary channels in order to become American citizens. Illegal immigration is wrong, and, I cannot see how others can justify people breaking the law. In other countries around the world, if they find out that a person is in their territories illegally, that individual will be thrown into jail and later extradited out of that country. Mexico would be a good example of this. If illegal immigration is breaking the law in other countries, why would others think that it should be allowed it in the United States? If illegal immigration is against the law, then it is against the law, and, when others who happen to be in authority condone it, then we get into the issue of, which laws do we keep, and, which laws are OK to break. The U.S., should make it easier for individuals to become American citizens, with the notion that such persons will adapt to America’s political and social culture, and not the other way around.

Stagnation: a Form Of Death

Stagnation is a miserable stage for one to be in, if he or she desires to have a continuing growth process in every aspect of his of her life. Some people become stagnated intellectually, while others become stagnated spiritually. Most, however, are stagnated physically. Stagnation, is a process of one failing to develop, progress, or grow. When one fails to grow or develop physically, it can have a great deal of negative consequences, and, I am not talking about moving from an infant to a child, from a child to an adolescent, or from an adolescent to an adult. I am talking about people who do not workout, and keep their bodies’ fit and develop, so, that they can be productive beings within our society. When individuals are excessively overweight, they become not only a burden to themselves, but to society at large. Obesity, is a major health problem in our society today. People who are overweight, have all type of health problems, such as high blood pressure, Type 2 diabetes, and lung and heart problems, just to name a few. What such individuals need to do, is to start a workout program, which should consist of exercising three times a week, for about a hour and a half a day. Their workout program must consist of four major elements, strength training, muscular endurance training, cardio, and, better eating habits. People who are overweight, usually are always complaining about how their bodies’ are aching from this and aching from that. Much of this is due to the fact that excessive fat, causes our bodies not to function properly. For, example, too much fat makes it difficult for our bodies’ to absorb insulin produced by the pancreas, thus, causing high levels of sugar to build up in our bloodstream. Being overweight causes one to feel fatigue most of the time. This was definitely the case with me, when I was overweight. The solution to this problem, is not to be stagnated with one’s health. Instead, one must work to develop a body that is healthy, so, that it can function properly, like it was designed to do so. Intellectual stagnation takes place when one stops doing things that would cause him or her to grow or develop cognitively. This is the person who use to keep up with the latest scholarly material in his or her respectable field of study. Not only this, but, this individual at one time was very well- rounded, because he or she would read materials outside of his or her discipline, such as newspapers, magazines, journals, and other popular materials within our culture. Now, this individual, seldom reads anything, except maybe a text message on a cell phone. This person’s career, has now turned into a job, because he or she no longer sees growth in the current area from which they dwell. Most people think that white collar professions cannot become dead end jobs, but, they can if a person is constantly reaching for a higher level of intellectual and spiritual development. The individual who is experiencing intellectual stagnation, must begin to look for a higher calling in his or her career, change to a new career, or find something outside of his or her profession, that brings them a great deal of joy. Spiritual stagnation can take place, for a variety of reasons. One may feel that he or she is not growing spiritually, because their are not any major changes in his or her life. Going to church on a regular basis, singing in the choir, or being on the usher board, just does not cut it anymore. Running to this conference and running to that conference, to hear Joyce Myers, T.D. Jakes, Joel Osteen, Tony Evans, Beth Moore, and, other great individuals of the Christian faith, seems to be a bore. Especially, since after doing all of this, an individual’s life is still similar to that of the children of Israel, wondering around in the wilderness for forty years. Or, going around the same mountain over and over again. The solution to the stagnated Christian is that, an individual must know Jesus Christ for his or herself. One can buy this book and that book. Go purchase this DVD, and that DVD, but, until a person knows Jesus Christ for his or herself, he or she will always have to piggyback off of another person’s testimony. When an individual is experiencing stagnation, whether it be spiritual, intellectual, or physical, there needs to be some type of positive change. If a person is experiencing all three at the same time, then he or she may raise the question, ” why do I get up in the morning ” ? Stagnation makes people alienated from their families, friends, church, and the workplace. It is like a dead person walking around, who is just merely existing within space, matter, and time.

Satanic Feminism

If a woman has the same qualifications as a man, and has been on the job the same length of time as the man, then she should make the same amount of money as a man. Anything less than this would be sexism. Sexism is definitely a form of discrimination that exist within our society. An operational definition of of “Sexism”, is the discrimination against an individual or group, based on attitudes which promote the stereotyping of a certain person’s or group’s gender. The majority of research on the topic of sexism shows that it is women who experience it the most. Such concepts as the “Glass Ceiling” and “Comparable Worth”, usually appear when discussing the issue of sexism. The Glass Ceiling, refers to the failure of women to rise to the highest positions in corporations and other professions due to the invisible barriers of discrimination. Comparable Worth argues that pay levels for traditionally-male and traditionally-female jobs should be equalized by paying both sexes the same amount of money for the same job. However, there is another type of sexism which emerged out of a certain aspect of the Feminist Movement. I refer to it as Satanic Feminism. Satanic Feminism, is the belief that men in general, are no good and they are all low down dirty dogs. It also pushes the notion that men are a bunch of chauvinistic pigs that cannot be trusted. Satanic Feminism, exist in every aspect of America’s political culture. It is one thing for a woman to be discriminated against, because of her gender, and that in itself is wrong, but it is another thing when a woman or women bash men in general, and, what is no sad about this is that, many men condone or make excuses, for those women who adhere to the Satanic Feminist Philosophy. America over the last 25-years or so, has produced a nation of wimps. Men who have no backbone. Men who are punks, who sit at home and let women take care of them, and, several of these women gladly do so, because they either want someone who they can control or they have very low self-esteems. These are those women who always running around saying that all they want, ” is a thug “, with babies all over the place with no responsible male on the scene, but let them tell it, all they want,” is a thug”. By no means am I saying that a man is someone running around like “Rambo”, with bullets across his chest, or someone acting like, ” He Man ”, the so-called master of the universe. But, I have observed too many men who have yielded their authority at times when they should have stood up. After all, for those of us from the Biblical School of Thought, know what happen when Adam yielded this authority to Eve, all hell broke loose. Nevertheless, Satanic Feminists, only feel comfortable around gay or metro-sexual males who exemplify very little masculinity if any at all. Any males who do not fall within these two categories are enemies to the Satanic Feminist. As stated earlier, such individuals exist within every aspect of America’s society. Satanic Feminists, are in institutions of higher education, corporate America, in the movie and record industry, in preschool and K-12, in and outside of the military, in blue and pink collar professions, as well as white collar careers. Many of them also dwell in the church. In fact many Satanic Feminists claim that God has call them to preach and be pastors over churches, when God clearly has stated in his word that it is not good for a woman to take authority over a man in I Timothy 2:11-14. Also in I Corinthians 11:3-5, God’s word explains that the head of every man is Christ, the head of a woman is a man, and the head of Christ is God. However, Satanic Feminists, argue that God really did not mean that, and those who adhere to such a belief, are taking the bible out of context. I am pretty sure the homosexual feel that folks are taking the bible out of context, when it states that it is wrong for two men to have sexual relations. He too can say that God did not really mean that. What about the heterosexual male who sleeps with women who he is not married to? Can he also say that, “God did not really mean that fornication is a sin, and, that folks are just taking the bible out of context” ? The characteristics of a Satanic Feminist are as follows:

(a) She is usually loud and bossy, and she may or may not be a lesbian;

(b) She is usually pro-choice when it comes to abortion;

(c) She has a tendency to blame men for all of her problems and possesses an unadulterated hatred towards men in general, unless they happen to be gay or metro-sexual, and, then she only tolerates them;

(d) She has a form of godliness, but denies the power thereof, so, don’t be deceived by her

throwing Jesus Christ’s name around.

(e) She may or may not be educated, but, the most vocal ones usually have some formal

training.

If a woman stands up for what she believes in, or speaks out on behalf others who cannot stand up for themselves, it does not mean that she is a Satanic Feminist. If a woman is the boss or supervisor on a job or career and she is over several males, it does not mean that she is a Satanic Feminist. If a woman is the breadwinner of her family, it does not mean that she is a Satanic Feminist. Satanic Feminism, is a body of thought, actions and attitudes, ranging from the most simplest expressions of anti-male values to a more complex belief of reverse sex and gender discrimination. Watch out for those men and women who adhere to, or condone Satanic Feminism, because it is truly a doctrine of reverse sexual discrimination. Are there any Satanic Feminists in your family, church, job, or community? More than likely we all have come across many.

Wars Everywhere

There seems to be wars everywhere. Wars within one’s self. Wars within one’s family and wars within one’s relationship. Wars on one’s job and wars within one’s community and wars within one’s state. Everywhere one goes, there seems to be some type of war taking place, and believe it or not, there are a great deal of wars in the church. Life within itself is always a constant struggle. The caterpillar must struggle to break out of the cocoon, in order to become a butterfly. The student must constantly struggle in order to keep up the good grades. The young couple must struggle to keep their marriage from falling apart. The former drug addict must struggle to stay clean, so, that he will not return to his habit. The Christian must constantly struggle to become more and more like Christ. Life is a war zone, and it does not matter whether one is black or white, or a Muslim or Christian. We all face war zones in our lives. Many of us come out from one battlefield, just to enter into another one. Some wars that we face in our lives have been brought on by circumstances out of our control, while others, we have a great deal of control over them, because we were the ones who went out and created the mess or chaos. However, as one becomes older and wiser, he or she begins to pick and choose which battles to fight, because some battles are not worth fighting. In life there is one thing that a person is guaranteed to receive free, and, that is a hard time. One does not have to go looking for trial and tribulations or hard times. They will find you. This is why the bible is not in vain when it tells us in Ephesians 6:12:

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers,

against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high

places.

II Corinthians 10: 3-6, also sheds some light on the subject of warfare, in which these verses emphasize that our battles are not physical but spiritual and are mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds and casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into the captivity, every thought to the obedience of Christ, and having all readiness to revenge disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled. Wars, and battles are just apart of life and there is no way to avoid them.

Stop Pimping God’s Name

A great deal of Christians and church goers, use God’s name to elevate themselves. They attach persons, places, or things onto God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit’s, name, in order that they might appear to be more spiritual than they really are. One can usually hear such individuals saying things like, ” the Lord told me this, and, the Lord told me that “. It was a certain person that I once knew, who use to do this all the time. Every-time I would come in contact with her, she always had a word from the Lord for me. I knew it was not from the Lord, because the things that she told me, just were not true, and, God does not make mistakes. She would claim to be prophesying over me, and, then, the next day I would observe her being very cruel to other person. She was also a big racist, because on a few occasions, I had to rebuke her for certain racist comments that she would make towards blacks and Hispanics, even though she herself was Hispanic. Very few people on planet earth today, know God like Moses, Elijah, Daniel, Elisha, Job, and, the Apostle Paul. Yet Moses, Elijah, Job, and Paul, become so discouraged and frustrated with their walk with God, until they desired death. The point that I am making here is that one has to spend a great deal of time with God almighty, in order to hear from Him through signs and wonders. According to the holy scriptures which I study, the living God does not give visions, signs, and wonders, to everybody and their mama, every minute of the day. Such actions are not biblical, and, I would hypothesize, that a lot of folks are running around lying on God. These folks are prophesying, out of their own hearts. They are prophesying deceits, lies, and deceptions. By no means, am I saying that one cannot give a person a prophetic word from the Lord, because he or she can, since prophesy is one of the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit in I Corinthians, 12: 8-10. I am referring to individuals, who claim to be prophets and prophetesses. God gave the church apostles, which usually refers to the 12 which walked with Jesus Christ. There are no more apostles in the church today. God gave to the church prophets. There are no more prophets in the church today, and, we have not had any since the last book of the New Testament was written. God gave to the church evangelists. Evangelists will serve the church until Jesus Christ comes. God also gave to the church pastors and teachers. Pastors and teachers are local ministers, whereas, apostles, prophets, and evangelists are ministers at large. Therefore, beware of people who want to practically work you to death, at many of these churches for free, and, then attach God’s name onto it. More than likely, it is more about them, than it is about God. Most people who do this, are either working at the church full-time, and are receiving a salary,or they have retired from a career, and the church ministry is all that they have. Therefore, the ministry has become an idol to them and they have not realized it. Usually, these are directors or assistant directors over certain ministries in the church, such as the ushers, the choir, hospitality, greeters, the parking lot ministry, prayer ministry, or other ministries at the church. It is great to work in a ministry or ministries at the church, as long as one understands that he or she is doing it for the Lord Jesus Christ, and, not for people. A person should never let another individual, put him or her in bondage, or make him or her feel guilty, if he or she does not want to do something. So to often, church leaders say or do things, to make those in their congregation feel guilty, in order to control them. Statements such as, “you are letting the Lord down, or if you were really a Christian, you would do this, and, you would do that”. Such statements are nothing short of witchcraft. Christians and church goers should not use God’s name to control or manipulate others. So, stop pimping God’s name.

You Cannot Judge Me

Most of us have heard this statement on many occasions . ” You cannot judge me”. However, what people fell to realize, is that judgment is everywhere in both our society and other cultures as well. However, what the average Christian does, is take Matthew, 7: 1-5, out of context. Matthew chapter seven,verses one through five is dealing with the hypocrite. We as human being can judge each other’s actions or behaviors, but we cannot judge the intent of a person’s heart. For example, lets say that John Doe is a devout Christian, and, you and I walked up on John Doe, cursing someone out, and constantly using profanity. Based on John’s actions, he is not acting Christ-like, but, later on you and I found out that a guy had a gun in John’s back, at the time that we saw John using profanity. The guy told John that if he stopped cursing, that he would shoot him in the back. Therefore, even though you and I judged John’s behavior as not being consisted with Christian values and beliefs, we know now that John was using profanity because he feared for his life. You and I judged John’s actions and not the intent of his heart, only God can judge the intent of a person’s heart. This is why all world governments have some kind of system of judgment, and, these systems of judgment are not based on the intent of a person’s heart, but, are rather based on the actions and behavior of an individual or group. This is why in our penal codes, we have felonies and misdemeanors, in the categories of First, Second, Third, and some states have Fourth degree felonies and class “A”, “B”, or “C”, misdemeanors. When children get into a dispute or fight, dad or mom, must judge the action or behavior of the children. Dad and mom, must settle the dispute by determining who was wrong and who was right. When individuals go to court, the judge must decide, based on the evidence, who was wrong and who was right. Quite naturally in a criminal case, the jury will decide guilt or innocence. The boss or supervisor, on the job must make judgment calls based on the behavior or actions of employees. Sometimes, the judgment calls by the supervisor will be positive, and, therefore, the employee, will receive an award such as a pay raise or a promotion, or if negative, the employee, would be placed on probation or either be fired. There is no such thing as living in a world in which individuals are not being judged for the actions that they take. Making a statement such as, “you cannot judge me”, is ludicrous, because the whole world lies in judgment, and, as far as the Christian is concerned, the bible that the Christian reads, has a book in it, that is called, “ Judges”, and, what individuals such as Gideon, Deborah, Samson, Othniel, Ehud, Abdon, Jair, and others were doing, in the book of “Judges”, was judging. Samuel is the last individual to be both prophet and judge of Israel, in the Old Testament. A person can judge another individual’s behavior or actions, but not the intent of the individual’s heart.
