This post is pretty funny. Our society does hold a different standard for men and women, but honestly, I can see where that line is not so distinct anymore. The young adults have this unwritten rule now, that sex can and should happen within the first 3 dates. A lot of this is initiated by the female, too. She makes him "addicted" really soon and so she thinks she has him. Unfortunately, that is oftentimes not true. I often wonder why the female has become the aggressor nowadays. I think a lot of that is just trying to be accepted anyway she can. She may have had an absent father, but definitely developed a poor self image, with little or no self respect. The Bible clearly spells out how we can live our lives the happiest. However, if we fall short of that, and we do, then steps 9-12 are very appropriate. But really, Tiger Woods, JFK, David Letterman are just plain sluts! The mistake that they made was just getting married. We may point fingers at them, but many more men (and women) are addicted to porn. As a matter of fact, the on-line porn industry is the fastest growing addiction in this country. I believe that there is a double standard when it comes to the difition of "hoe". Since I was a teenager, women where considered to be "hoes", if they slept with a number of different men. As you stated it is because of our nations stigmata, they is seen that way. For example, my mother, when I was 17 and 18 would not let me stay out pass 12 am, but my brother could stay out to 2 am. When I asked the question why, it was because he was a male and I was a female. But I do beleive that man and women can be "hoes", and that maybe we as a nation should start to look at that aspect in a different light.
