John Doe, is a corporate lawyer, and he works for one of the largest multinational corporations in the U.S., . He has a lovely wife and three children. His wife is a Vice President, of a large cable company. They live in a very affluent neighborhood, in a 5000 foot square home. They both are very active in their Home Owners Association, and, are well liked, by others in their community. However, John has a secret sin, that he has been dealing with, for quite sometime now. Joe has a fetish for young boys. He got married, so, that he could cover up his secret sin, so, that no one would suspect him of anything. Mr. John Doe, can be set free by the power of the Holy Ghost.
Mary Jane, is 35 years-old, and she is an assistant principal of Johnson’s Elementary School. Mary taught 11-years, before she became an Assistant Principal, and she has been divorced for three-years. She and her former husband, chose not to have children, but, they still remained good friends. However, in the final year of their marriage, Mary admitted to her husband, that she was a lesbian, and, that she had a settle hatred in her heart toward men, because as a little girl, she constantly observed her alcoholic father beating her mother. Mary Jane, can be set free, by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Pete McGee, is an excellent student, at Portales University, he has a 4.0, G.P.A., and, he is the captain of the football team. His major is Biology, because he hopes to get into medical school. Pete is one of the most popular guys on campus, and, he gets nothing but praise from his professors. However, Pete, has a major problem, he is hooked on pornography on the Internet. He spends hours looking at porn, and, when his coaches ask him why he is late to practice, he makes an excuse like, “I overslept”. Pete McGee, can be set free from pornography, by the power of Jesus Christ, through the Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ, through the Holy Spirit, can set a person free from any type of sexual addiction. If you are a married man, and, in your heart you are sexually attracted to young boys or another man, you can be set free by Jesus Christ. If you are a single man, but in your heart you know that you are a whore, because, every other month you have a different woman, you can be set free by the Holy Spirit. If you are tired of being controlled by pornography, I have some good news for you, and, that is, you can be set free by the Holy Ghost. Jesus Christ, can also set an individual free from, mastrubation, fornication, homosexuality, and, the list could go on. The question, that you must ask is, “do I want to be set free” ? If, the answer is yes, then call on him, out of a sincere heart, and, he will set you free. He did it for me, and, I believe He will do it for you.

First, I would like you to know that I admire you so so much; for to me you really are a giant. Most, people wouldn’t and don’t talk about these subjects, because most are afraid to let others know that they have dealt with or they are dealing with such problems as the ones that you speak about. There are many men and women dealing with being sexually attracted to those of the same sex. But, we all know that this is truly wrong even those that are involved in same sex relationships. God did not create us to be with the same sex! You ask why? I’m glad that you asked God said be fruitful and mulitiply,this can’t happen with two men and this can’t happen with two women. This will only occur when there’s a Man and Woman!. Those that are attracted to children God help! This is truly a problem you must ask God to help you with this he is the only one who can truly set you free from yourself! Because this is a mind problem how could one ever think that it’s okay to sleep with a child. Most, of the time this is passed on from the persons childhood maybe someone did sexual acts on them and ,for some cause they believe that this is okay. Then it’s those that did it out of the need to be in total control, With children it’s easy to take the control! This is the type of person that is not very likely to be around many people. They don’t want to be with those they can’t control!
I believe that a lot of people struggle with this within the church walls,but are afraid to openly tell someone for the fear of being ridiculed or condemned. With all of the blatant dis respectfulness within our society against our God given sexualities, it does not amaze me that people struggle with being sexual attracted to children, especially if they were molested themselves. I am not just talking about just the physical part of being molested, but the molestation of our minds. It is so disgusting what the movies put out , especially now they have a sit com on T.V about teenagers having orgies. Come on, the society as a whole is sick. Not just the people, but the ones who are trying to tell people that it is ok to have sex with a 10 year old, if you are 40, and let us not forget the Roman culture for a man to be a man he had to have another man put his penis in his anus, and that was his introduction to manhood. In India children as young as six are sold by their parents, well the girls are sold by their parents into prostitution to pay off their debts. Now right now I am taking sociology and I am told to respect other people cultures, to me that is not culture that is rape, to the fullness extent. I don’t believe that people would be attracted to kids if society had more respect for our sexuality at large, but no the mainstream want to say we are animals, so let us get in touch with our animal nature, and now we have men raping little six years old and killing themselves afterward, because they know that it is wrong.
It is sad the way we are being molested by the media into believing that perversion is the right path, but to some people having sex with little children is ok, because the movies or the sociologist say so. I am in a sociology class right now, and I am told to respect other people cultures, well I can not have respect for the culture of Indian who allow their six year old daughters to be sold for sex, just to pay off their debts. The little girls are chained to a cage as if they are animals, it is too discussing for me to even mention the details. I only know this information because of church missionary trips there. There is a perversion norm that is dismantling on the sex age appropriateness. The Romans would have the little boys have anus sex with the older men, just to introduce the young boys, at the age nine to manhood. Now, I know a lot of people will love to say, “come on Illa this is not true, but it is. I could never understand why someone could be attracted to a child, but who can understand the mind of a sick person especially when the person refuse to admit that they have a problem. I agree that being sexually attracted to children is a generational curse, and it can only be broken by the blood of Jesus and nothing else, however if a person is engaged in porn, a person can open up themselves to another spirit of perversion. That is the reason I believe that the rape of children have gone up because when someone is into porn, they look at all nastiness and then they get so screwed up in the mind, that they will take it out on anybody just to satisfy their sinful nature. My mother use to tell me”T.T. a man who is screwed up in his head will have sex with a snake”. Now, that is some serious bondage”. Rest in Peace Mommy.
I believe that everyone in this world are siners. That does not exclude me. we cannot judge anyone for their sexual preferences or for how they live with their sexual lives. I believe evryone lives their sexual life in a way they prefer to. Sometimes these ways might be wrong but only the lord can judge. What goes around comes around, no one can escape from that. Everything that one does in this life and is wrong or bad will come back to us multiplied.
I know God is great and forgives all but to anyone who would ever touch any kid in any sexual way can go straight to HELL. He/She shouldn’t be forgiven. People who do things like that are very sick people and they can give thousands excuses and ask for forgiveness in a million ways and i will still want them to go HELL. I am not a saint of any kind but I have two children of my own that I would give my whole world for and if anyone where to ever touch them in that way they wouldn’t live to see tomorrow. So maybe that is when they should pray to GOD to take them with HIM because if HE doesn’t I sure will where I go.
What a topic to discuss in a small paragraph? I believe God can forgive people who are sinners, but there is a limit, and responsibility in ones actions too. People who molest or abuse children are sick and need proffessional help. If one believe in God they should stick with what Bible says not only when they are doing bad things, it is a daily life requirment. Jesus died for us the sinners, that is not an excuse to molest or abuse people and ask forgiveness, yes He will forgive the person no matter what. Cheating on your wife, same sex marriage, child moleatation, phonography and the sin goes on……. It is wrong, people need to think straight and get help. I respect all cultures but not the sick people. Yes Jesus Christ through Holy Spirit can set anyone free but these sick sinners should get help and get a life through Jesus Christ.
Yes…Jesus Christ can set anybody free if they ask him to; I do believe this. However, in order for a person to be set free he/or she has to be willing to change the problem. You have to meet God half way, meaning that when God delivers you, you have to have the will power to go through what you are asking for. Its just like losing weight; it is not easy but if you ask God to give you the strength, he will do it. Once you believe that the Holy Spirit has empowered you, you cannot continue to commit the same sin and expect different results. Its like working out to lose weight one day and then eating a Big Mac from McDonald’s da next day; you are defeating the purpose.
Yes…. he can set you free. As Hope said, you must meet him half way. Admit to your problems and move forward ask for forgiveness and live your life correctly. God Doesn’t put things in your path for fun. He is simply showing you the way, can you over come what he has in store for you?
Most people in this world have sined before once in there life time. But I to believe if one would like to be set free God can set you free, it’s the individuals responsibility to call for him.
This is a true statement! My Lord and Saviour can do the impossoble! Without the will to change though, it will be hard. This also brings up another good point, even though you see people living the good life on the outside, it doesnt necessarily mean all is well. There can be a lot of problems going on behind closed doors. Be thankful for what you have because the person who you are envying because they have a lot of “Stuff” can be envying you because you can just go to bed at night without any worries.

Through the power of our Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit each person mentioned in the article can be set free of his/her addiction. As you stated the question is “Is do they want to be set free.” In my opinion some people will be set free because that is the choice they make, but unfortunately some will not be. Some people will refuse to listen to what the power of Christ can do for one. They will never experience this because they do not believe or they feel that they have gone too far and that Christ would never forgive them. I think they feel this way because of the media. The media is extremely harsh on these types of people. For example, the television show How to Catch a Predator caused a man to commit suicide because of the child pornography found on his computer. Will he be set free? Probably not. This man choose to live this life and died by the life he lived. He never gave his self the opportunity to ask for forgiveness, to know Jesus Christ. On the other hand, Tiger Woods has openly admitted he has a sexual addiction and has checked into a rehab for it. I feel that he wants to be set free, and he will. Both of the incidents were very popular in the media drawing much negative attention to both men. Each person handles each situation differently, so I think the answer, “Can I be set free?” is up to the person and how well they can handle the situation they have gotten theirselves in.

I like this one a lot. It not only informs, but for some of your readers you are a helper. I wouldn’t even doubt it if you have saved mariages and assure people that Jesus can set them free. I have a family member who is going through her husband cheating on her. It is a nasty and vicious thing to go through, but I think everyone needs to be reminded that there is an up. There are amazing things in life that you have yet to expierence. Jesus can truly help and set anyone free.
I really believe this is why there are so many priests in the Catholic Church that are pedophlies.
It is my opinion that the young men who go into the priesthood come from very closed minded, religious families.
These young men have been battling an inner demon of a sexual nature all thier life.
Maybe they have discovered they are attracted to other boys/men, or maybe they are attracted to younger children.
This causes inner termoil because of their tight religious upbringng.
They certainly cannot go to their parents for support.
They turn to God.
They reason that, if they become a priest they will be able to quelch these feelings through the “holy spirit”.
Then they find out that these feelings do not go away no matter how hard they pray.
What happens then is that hundreds of boys/youngchildren are preyed upon by the priests they are taught to revere.
This is just my own interpretation and opinion, and is not meant to offend anyone.

Amen. I believe that as long as a person asks for forgiveness God will give it to them, Hello!! Didn’t Jesus die for just that? People have problems and in God’s eyes no sin is greater or more forgivable then the next. Murder, sex, drugs, in God’s eyes are just as bad as lying to a friend or parent, cheating on a test, or even just saying something mean to someone. People struggle in life and no one knows what is going on in their head or what happens to them after they die. God is the judge of whether or not a person can be set free and I know that the God I believe in is a forgiving god!
Yes anybody can be set free from any addiction even if its sexual or whatever. All they have to do is admitt they have a problem and call on the lord and ask for help and guidance from this sin.
There is NOt an excuse to molest or abuse a child! Peolpe take advantage of innocent childre, that do no understand the diffrence from right or wrong. Everyone struggles with some type of addiction, it can be as simple as being addicted to a cell phone to the serious issues of drug addiction. Whatever the case may be, there is always a way out of that addiction and that is truly through the love of God. I’ve been in deep pits before and it was only because I allowed that sin to take over my life. But God was always there for me and never left my side and continues to be with me every second of everyday. It’s remarkable what the Lord can do. People tend to blame others for their addictions and use the excuse that there is no way out when in fact, there is always the option to get out if they are willing to take it. A person can’t change another being or help him/her if that person in need isn’t wanting the help or to change. That change starts from within that person’s heart and the acceptance of Jesus Christ.
I don’t believe that anyone should bring harm to an innocent child and I am a christian but it is very difficult for me to understand anyone abusing a child sexually or physically. But I do know that GOD will forgive anyone but I do believe he understands it is hard for us to understand these type of situations.
I agree that people can be seet free and forgiven by the Holy Ghost but I think it will take more than just asking for forgiveness to God. I believe that one has to be truly regretful of their sins and not just ask for forgiveness expecting automatically that they are going to be forgiven because it does not work like that. If you are not expressing your true feelings when you call on to him he will know and it will depend on him if he is going to forgive you or not. Everyone has addictions and they should be able to be forgiven if they truly know that they are wanting to be forgiven and are going to stop their addiction. But I also do not think that people that are messing with children should be forgiven because it is not the childs fault that there are pedophiles outside trying to harm them. They should be able to live their life without worrying about getting hurt by adults or other people.
“Ask and you shall receive.” I feel that if a person admits he or she has a problem and is willing to change, that person can be set free if they ask the Lord for forgiveness. Admitting you have a problem is the hardest part and once you come to that realization, seeking help should come easy and there is no better place to go for help than to the Lord. Everybody sins and its a part of life so if you ask him for forgiveness and are truly sorry then I see no reason why you shouldn’t be forgiven.
All someone needs in their life is God. Through the power of the Father, they can get through anything. No matter what it is, God is always there to help. I learned this when I was going through a rough time. In that rough time I stumbled across a Bible verse that helps me remember that He is always by my side. “God is our refuge and strength, an everpresent help in times of trouble.” Psalm 46:1
I really agree with this article because I do feel that people can be set free if they give their soul to Christ. I do feel that a person that is single and goes from girl to girl is fine because a man, who is naturally a polygamist should get it out of his system before he get tied down and married.

In mainstream media the one saying that will always be true is SEX SELLS. Sex will always be an hot topic issues. When the priest is charged with sexual abusing boys. hey are no diffrent fro me and you. Some people believe that if they are perceived by the community a certain way they can cover their ultimate secret by painting them a picture perfect person. Either the person with the fetish of young kids will try to work as near them as possible or do the quiet opposite and make a career in something that has nothing to do with their fetish. Therefore the temptation isn’t constantly in their face and can with hold themselves from what they carve most. I feel that the only way a person will be set free from the sins if they are truly over what they secretly feel they need or what they are wrongfully attracted to. I can’t speak for God but how I think and feel about these topics I know I could not forgive anyone who commits child abuse. In my eyes you are sick and nothing can cure you from what you feed on most not even God, deep in their soul they will still want to repeat it and eventually give in no one can hold them back.
People all over the world have some sort of addiction to something. It’s when these things start to interfere with your life or can destroy everything you have worked for is when it’s a problem. I do believe in the power of Christ and that all good things happen through Him. Many people might be ashamed to confess these addictions of sexual nature for fear of being a social leper. They might be afraid of people’s judgement or treatment of them after they have confessed their problem.If one can overcome the embarrasment factor then it should be easier for them.

I agree with everything said in the article above. Jesus Christ can set one free from all the chains of bondage we or others set on ourselves. He is always there waiting for us to sincerely ask for help. Those that say they tried asking Jesus Christ for help and didn’t receive any are only deceiving themselves because they didn’t truly want the help in the first place but wanted to drown themselves in their sin. Everyone has an addiction! I mean I can see if it’s weird or dangers yourself or others around but if it’s your own personal addiction, I don’t any one beside yourself should be worried about what you do! This is what the world needs to hear. Only by the power of the Holy Ghost truly be set free and delivered. The treatments and rehab may help for a minute, but it’s only through Jesus will they be set free. Many people argue that a higher power can’t set a person free, but too many people are good examples. I’m reminded of Kirk Franklin a few years ago he came out and said that he was addicted to pornography. He said that he had been struggling with it for years but he got tired of it and he wanted help so he went to his wife and they went to their pastor and the pastor talked with him and told him the only way he could be free was through Jesus Christ. I used him as an example because so many people in the body of Christ strugle with the same addiction. So when they see someone who is of the like faith they are encouraged and they can feel that there is still yet help for them.
i beleive that jesus christ forgives and forgets. everybody is addicted to something or makes wrongful choices but that dossnt mean you cannot be set free. we are all human beings and noone has the right to judge you because nobody is perfect but jesus christ.

Addictions are bad when they get in the way of your everyday life. And some of these addictions can be over comed with the strangth of the Holy Spirit, but I aslo believe that some are too strong to overcome with out other help. Meaning professinal help form rehab centers.
All sexual addictions and sexual preferences outside of the norm of humanity are ofcourse a major sin in the eyes of god. Like all other sins, regardless of the kind or severity, sins related to sexual matters are forgiven by the lord and will be forgiven when, and only when, one seeks forgiveness. This does not mean that one is gona be a hypocrite and one day ask for forgivess and the next day go back to commiting the same sin. When an individuals seeks the help of the lord or in the bowtie professors words “be liberated by the power of the Holy Ghost” one should understand what step has been take and follow it all the way.
Yes, God does forgive but when a person repents a person should do so with all his/her heart, not just ask for forgiveness and then go back to doing the sin. And what is sin? Anything can be bad in excess. People have no right to judge others and anyways I think that deep down the person committing a sin knows that he/she is wrong.
Amen!! God forgives sinners and he loves all of them because God himself is love. Its like the Bible says: “Angels rejoice more when one sinner repents with a full heart than over 99 righteous people.” But they must have a repentful heart. Everyone is human and everyone commits sins.

I think a lot of people in this world are like this. A lot more people than we like to think might have that fetish for young boys or other men. It brings me to the question, are you born gay or do you turn gay? I used to think gays and lesbians were bad people who just wanted attention. Now that I know a few gays and lesbians, I realize that they are just regular people who are just attracted to the same sex. But reality is, there is a huge difference in the numbers of gays now compared to 10 years ago. I believe that this all comes from the television. Whether its a movie or a t.v. show, there always seems to be a lesbian or gay scene. In my opinion, the more it’s on t.v, the more comfortable people feel being that way. The only thing I say is I don’t care if you are gay or straight, either way I just don’t want to hear about your sex life.
I really like this article a lot. It was really interesting to hear how people have sinned and would be open about it. It would be great if Jesus Christ could free us all from the sins that we have kept secret towards the world. However, a person might have more than one sin and if Jesus set you free from one sin it will be you that has to ask for God’s hands. ^o^
Now if there are those that crossed the line in any sexual ways then Jesus should not cure them of their sins because crossing the line could cause a lot of chaos for other people. You should not bring another person down with you. No matter what the excuse is or how many times you ask for forgiveness there is no one there for you after crossing that line. However, it takes a lot of courage for those who have sin to ask for forgiveness. Also, a lot of people would not even admit that they have sinned, but those that has would not have to worry about their burden anymore. Oh WOW! When i read the tittle something different came to mind. As i read i started realizing that most people are like that. They tend to cover up things. Maybe its because they are insecure or they are scared of society and especially their family. To tell you the truth i do believe that god made man for the woman and the woman for the man. Its like they out it at church. I’m not a huge religious person either so don’t quote me. I try not to judge people for what they like or anything. I do have family relatives and friends that can fall in these categories… and believe me what they tell me is that they are sad and not happy because they are scared. All i can say is DON’T be scared… its ok just believe in God and the “Holy spirit will set you free!”
