Heaven: A Place Of Everlasting Joy

Heaven will be a place of everlasting joy. It will be an environment in which human words are inadequate to fully describe. It will be a place where our comprehension of God will greatly expand. It will be a place that is full of uninterrupted activities. It will not be a place where one is flying around on a cloud playing a harp all day, which is a falsehood projected by the mass media. The inhabitants of heaven are, God, Christ, the Holy Spirit, Angels, and God’s people, ( I Kings 8:30, Hebrews 9:12, 24, Psalm 139: 7-8). There is no corruption in heaven, no sorrow, no inadequacies, no weariness, no pain, no curse, no death, no wicked people, no night, and no end, ( Matthew 22:30, Luke 20:36, Revelation 7:17, 22:3-5 ). Those of us who have chosen to accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour shall experience eternal joy, rest, peace, righteousness, rewards, inheritance, and glory in heaven, because it is a far better place than what we have down here on earth. This is why Christ tells us in Matthew 6:20, ” to lay up for ourselves treasures in heaven, where no moth and dust do corrupt.” Can one imagine a place where there is no racism, sexism, crime, drugs, murder, hatred, jealousy, envy, strife, and other horrible sins?  The environment of heaven will allow those who go there, not to be hindered by obstacles created by fear, pride, anxiety, and stress, which are barriers to our relationships, while here on earth. God gives us a glimpse of heaven in Revelation, chapters 21 and 22. Quite naturally, God has not revealed to us, all that we like to know about heaven, but, He has told us enough to the point where, only a fool would not want to go there.  As I pointed out in one of my other articles, it is a sad thing for individuals to have insurance on their  houses, insurance on their vehicles, Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance for their health, and, dental insurance for their teeth, but, do not have any insurance on their souls. What a pity. Heaven is one place that no inidivdual should miss out on. Unfortunately, however, many will do just that.

MEMORY VERSE [John 3:16]:”For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”AMEN!!!!Heaven IS the place to be. I don’t know why people wouldn’t want to go either. Like you said, “only a fool would not want to go there.” Why would you rather spend your life in the lake of fire; the home of the wicked? Where you’ll be constantly crying, in pain, sorrow, misery, and burn eternally…when you could be content and smiling everyday in the kingdom of God (paradise) and be blessed with ETERNAL LIFE???The last book, Revelations, in the Bible tells us about that beautiful, glorious place. It is described as a very, very large city where the streets are made of pure gold that’s clear as glass. Its twelve foundations are decorated with every kind of precious jewel. It has a high wall with twelve gates and each gate is made of a huge pearl. The names of the twelve apostles are written on the gates and the gates are open all the time; they never close. Revelations also states that, “There is no sun and there is no moon there. The glory of God and Jesus provide the light. Nighttime never comes. Everything there is good because nothing evil will be able to enter in.Bottomline: STOP waiting till the last minute to change your life around. Because GOD IS coming back!!!And when HE does…you BETTA hope that it’s not too late. =)

  2. I really like this topic because it is so true that people play around with there lives. Heaven is where i want to go. I could only image beening able to see my loved ones that has went on before me and are enjoying the lord. You know llike god creadted the heavans and earth and that no man will be with held from nothing all that is good and perfect comes from him.

This topic is a strong one and many people seem to play around with it, although im not sure why. I grew up and a christian household, but i was never really taught anything but to believe in god and pray, until I experienced church. My first interaction was an eye opener at the age of 12. I had the greatest pastor that seemed to understand everything and never bashed you for anything but uplifted you instead. I also, encountered some pators that did bash people and were to me un real profits but it wasnt for me to judge, so I just stamped this thought in my head that I use on an every day basis when interacting with people. “Don’t judge anyone because you never know what they are going to and like you god is still working on them also”, I live by this message and it as conditioned me to become a better person and acknowledge the facrt that heaven is were ai want to go.

Your vision on heaven is in perfect alignment with my biblical interpretation of heaven. It is a place that is beyond human comprehension. This reminds me of the joke that says “You will never see a hearse, pulling behind it a U-haul”, because all the things we strive for and care so much about on earth cannot be taken with us to heaven. We waste so much time here on earth chasing fame, fortune, and success, when we should really be putting our focus on accepting Jesus and sharing his word to others. Whether I see heaven fifty years from now or tomorrow, I will live my life 100% for Jesus.

heaven is really a place of everlasting joy, most people dont believe while some other think they still have enough time to repent and change into a good way after messing around with their lifes. heaven is a peaceful place everyone would like to be. talking from experience, a neice of mine once told me that their was no place called “heaven” that we christain just formed this name just to make people feel been a christain is just the only way. well i beleive those kind of people lack knowledge and needs to be couselled. even the bible says ‘ my people perish because of lack of knowledge’. seeing it in another way, even those that are not christains wants to go to heaven. my question is how would they make it there? most people say been a christain is not the only way of getting to heaven but by the way you live your life either faithfully or righteaously. there are different people on earth likewise we have different ways on calling on our God according to individual cultural background, custom, believe and tradition. we cannot judge people by what they do or practice, no one knows where they would be tomorrow. but always remember time waits for no one and no one knows when the world will come to an end.

Reading this article just made me happy and forget about everything that worries me! =) I have faith in Him and truly believe in Him, I know on some things we don’t see eye to eye but I dearly believe that everything happens for a reason and He has a plan set for us, yes some of us make a detour and make it difficult, but also He would not give you something you cannot handle. I do believe I have the opportunity of going there after my body says ‘no more’. I can’t wait to go up and there and reunite with my past family and best friend <3 it will definitely be something great! =D

  7. Anastasia Wavrusa says:

I love this article!!! Growing up in a house where faith is so important makes you see that life comes and goes. I am ready for the day when He ants me to go up into heaven and see all my loved ones that have passed and look down and watch all my other loved ones. It will be the best feeling ever!!!

  8. Christine Zachariah says:

Heaven is an eternal city, where we will rule with Jesus. The eternal city is described like this, Revelation 21:2 “Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain for the old order of things are passed away. ” he who wass seated on the throne said, I am making everthing new.” Truly as this verse states no sadness, no worries about tomorrow, everything is taken care of when we get to heaven. Heaven will be our eternal home. Ever since the passing away of my father, this hope is what i have, everyday to wait ardently for his coming. Yes we have problems and troubles but we should not let that hinder our vision. All the signs of God’s coming is being fulflled. Prophecy are being said, that the coming of the Lord is drawing nigh. We should live a life well pleasing to God in everything we do. If we miss the coming of God, what is the point of living anymore. If not accepted the Lord Jesus Christ, it isnt too late to accept him today. Be joyful in Heaven or burn in Hell. It is your choice!

  9. Eduardo Maldonado says:

This article reveals to me what heaven really is. Heaven is what our faith proclaims it to be. faith is a form of tolerance, because with faith we are allowed to tolerate all of our problems brought up by too many disappointments too many let downs too many inconveniences that this world has brought upon those whom abuse our God given rights. I believe that certain “illogical theories” such as the bible, Jesus Christ, even God for that matter are nurtured motives behind logical thinking. illogical in the sense that even in theory some assumptions about the after life during contemporary times sound, dare i say, “too good to be true”. Don’t get me wrong i am a firm believer of the word of our Lord and the indisputable Teachings of the bible but i believe even more so in paving your own destiny, simply put, God helps those who help themselves. I was taught to completely give my self to our savior, that in doing so a very special place will be saved for me giving my soul peace for all eternity, protected from the evils of man through God’s unfathomable love. In a world driven by incentives and ignorance i see that there is no other solution. There isnt a day that goes by that i dont i catch myself wondering about the fate of this world and all who inhabit it, but is it such a shame to think that none of this is true? They do say ignorance is bliss… is one truly better off worrying about life after death? Questions only God May answer…

  10. Amy Akabue says:

Very deep! I truly love this article. It is quite evident that there are a lot of lost souls here on Earth. Some people are angry, sad, lonely, dishonest, envious, and confused because their heart is aching for Jesus and they don’t even realize it. It’s sad to watch, but we as Christian and proud children of God need to step up and speak out. Our daily mission should be to know Christ and to make him known. If we aren’t doing this daily; we are not fulfilling our purpose. Heaven is like paradise. I almost feel stupid to get attached to these Earthly things. What can they do for me? Pleasing people with “dirty hands”, and not walking the walk God has planned for me was where I had once went wrong. Today, I see everyday as an opportunity to grow spiritually, to get closer to my Heavenly Father, and to become more like him. I know it is impossible to be sinless, but we can sin less. Earth is nothing compared to what Heaven offers. A place with no worries; everlasting love and praise. Who wouldn’t want that?

  11. Abigail Thomas says:

Heaven is a place of beautiful place as described in the Bible. No one can imagine how heaven looks. Only when a person gets to heaven can he know what heaven is like. The only activities in heaven, I believe is worship and fellowship with all the saints of God in heaven. It is true that the people mentioned in the article are the once that live in heaven. It is also true that there is no wickedness in heaven. Peace is an attribute of heaven and there is no one or anything that can destroy it. It is also true that we as children of God can enjoy all the pleasures of heaven for eternity. Everything the world has to offer can fade away within couple of minutes, hours, days, months or years. No one can imagine how there can be no struggles and live happy in heaven, but it is possible. Yes, the book of Revelation in the Bible describes how can be like. When God or prophets of God gives people a hint of heaven, we should learn and hear the point closely. People who are constantly reminded or hear about the Second Coming of The Lord should take it seriously.
